ALUMNI-PERKS NATIONAL CONTEST
Official Rules & Regulations
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN
The Alumni-Perks National Contest (the "Contest") is administered by Alumni-Perks Inc. ("Alumni-Perks" or "AP") in collaboration with participating Canadian post-secondary institutions and/or their alumni associations (each, a "Participating Institution").
The Contest is sponsored by the organization identified on the applicable Contest page (the "Contest Sponsor"). The Contest Sponsor is responsible solely for providing the Contest Prize described in these Rules.
By entering the Contest, participants agree to comply with and be bound by these Official Rules and Regulations (the "Rules") and the decisions of Alumni-Perks, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.
The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations in Canada and is void where prohibited by law.
Contest Period
The Contest begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on July 20, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on August 7, 2026 (the "Contest Period").
Entries received outside the Contest Period will not be eligible.
Eligibility
The Contest is open only to individuals who meet all of the following requirements:
Are legal residents of Canada (including residents of Québec);
Have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence;
Are verified alumni, members, or other eligible users (as determined by the Participating Institution) with access to that institution's Alumni-Perks platform.
The Contest is not open to:
Employees, officers, directors, representatives, or agents of Alumni-Perks, the Contest Sponsor, Participating Institutions, or their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies, or promotional partners;
Immediate family members (parent, spouse, sibling, or child) of the above individuals;
Persons living in the same household as any of the foregoing.
Alumni-Perks reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time.
Participating Institutions
This Contest is promoted through multiple participating Canadian post-secondary institutions.
Participating Institutions may promote the Contest through their Alumni-Perks platform, email communications, social media, websites, or other alumni engagement channels.
Participating Institutions are not responsible for administering the Contest or awarding the Prize unless specifically authorized by Alumni-Perks.
How to Enter
No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest.
Eligible entrants may enter during the Contest Period by completing the official Contest Entry Form through the applicable Alumni-Perks platform.
Entrants must have a valid Alumni-Perks profile through their post-secondary institution. Participation in any Contest Questions or Pulse Survey questions presented during entry is optional, is not required to enter, and does not affect Contest eligibility or the odds of winning.
Limit one (1) entry per eligible participant, unless otherwise stated on the Contest page.
Entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, duplicated, or submitted through automated means may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Alumni-Perks.
Alumni-Perks may also disqualify any entrant who tampers with or interferes with the Contest or any related platform, uses multiple accounts or identities, misrepresents alumni status or eligibility, submits automated or fraudulent entries, or otherwise acts in a manner that undermines the fair and proper conduct of the Contest.
Entry requires acceptance of these Official Rules by selecting the Rules acceptance checkbox presented during the entry process.
Contest Prize
The Contest Prize is described on the applicable Contest page.
Unless otherwise stated, there is one (1) Prize available.
The approximate retail value ("ARV") of the Prize will also be identified on the Contest page.
The Prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred, substituted, exchanged, or redeemed for cash except at the sole discretion of the Contest Sponsor.
If the advertised Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
Any taxes, fees, costs, or expenses associated with the acceptance or use of the Prize, and any consequences not expressly included in the Prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Winner Selection
A random draw will be conducted on or about August 17, 2026 from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
The selected entrant will be contacted using the contact information provided during entry by Alumni-Perks or its designated representative.
Before being declared the winner, the selected entrant must:
satisfy all eligibility requirements;
correctly answer, unaided, a mathematical skill-testing question administered by Alumni-Perks or its designated representative;
provide any identity or eligibility verification reasonably requested by Alumni-Perks; and
complete and return, within the time specified by Alumni-Perks, any required declaration, release, eligibility confirmation, and prize-acceptance documentation.
If the selected entrant fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, cannot be contacted within three (3) business days, fails to respond, declines the Prize, fails to complete the required documentation, is determined to be ineligible, or is otherwise not in compliance with these Rules, Alumni-Perks may disqualify that entrant and select an alternate eligible entrant by random draw from the remaining eligible entries.
Prize Delivery
The Prize will be delivered by the Contest Sponsor, or by a third party designated by the Contest Sponsor, following verification of eligibility.
Prize delivery timelines may vary depending upon the nature of the Prize and any verification requirements.
Quarters Prize Requirement
Where the Prize consists of funds deposited into a Quarters account, the selected winner must maintain or create a free Quarters account in order to receive the Prize.
Creating a Quarters account:
is not required to enter the Contest;
does not increase the odds of winning; and
may be completed only after a selected entrant has been contacted and verified, solely for the purpose of delivering the Prize.
Participants may be presented with an opportunity to create a Quarters account following a successful Contest entry. Participation in this optional registration process is entirely optional, is not required to enter, and does not affect Contest eligibility, winner selection, or the odds of winning.
The Contest Sponsor may require reasonable identity verification before depositing the Prize into the winner's Quarters account in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Where the Prize, or any portion of it, is awarded as cashback, account credit, rent credit, an electronic funds transfer, or a deposit into a Quarters account, the selected entrant must complete any identity, account, fraud-prevention, tax, anti-money laundering, payment-processing, or other verification reasonably required by Alumni-Perks, the Contest Sponsor, Quarters, or their payment service providers, and no Prize will be released until all required verification has been completed to the reasonable satisfaction of the applicable party. If the selected entrant cannot complete the required verification or cannot receive the Prize through the available delivery method, Alumni-Perks and/or the Contest Sponsor may, in their discretion, deliver the Prize by an alternative method of equal value or select an alternate eligible entrant.
Privacy
Alumni-Perks is committed to protecting participant privacy.
By entering the Contest, participants acknowledge and agree that:
Contest Entry Information
Contest entry information and any Pulse Survey responses are collected by Alumni-Perks / your Canadian post-secondary institution solely for administering the Contest, verifying eligibility, contacting the selected entrant, delivering the Prize, and Contest-related reporting, in accordance with the applicable Alumni-Perks Privacy Policy and the Participating Institution's applicable privacy practices. Pulse Survey responses are optional, do not affect eligibility or the odds of winning, and are used by Alumni-Perks in aggregated, de-identified form; the Contest Sponsor receives only aggregated, de-identified reporting unless the participant separately registers with the Contest Sponsor.
Sponsor Registration
Should a participant choose to register for services offered by the Contest Sponsor, any personal information submitted during that registration process will be collected directly by the Contest Sponsor and governed by the Contest Sponsor's own Privacy Policy.
Alumni-Perks and Participating Institutions are not responsible for the collection, storage, or use of personal information submitted directly to the Contest Sponsor.
Reporting
Alumni-Perks may provide aggregated, anonymized Contest analytics and reporting to Participating Institutions and the Contest Sponsor.
Personally identifiable information will not be disclosed except where reasonably necessary to administer the Contest, verify eligibility, or deliver the Prize.
All organizations involved in the Contest will handle personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including PIPEDA and applicable provincial privacy laws.
Marketing Consent
Entry into the Contest does not constitute consent to receive commercial electronic messages from Alumni-Perks, the Contest Sponsor, any Participating Institution, or any other party, except for messages reasonably necessary to administer the Contest, verify eligibility, contact a selected entrant, deliver the Prize, or otherwise operate the Contest.
Any consent to receive marketing or promotional communications must be obtained separately through a clear, affirmative opt-in. A participant may decline or withdraw marketing consent at any time without affecting Contest eligibility, winner selection, or the odds of winning.
Release
By participating in the Contest, entrants release and hold harmless Alumni-Perks, the Contest Sponsor, Participating Institutions, and each of their respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns from any liability arising from participation in the Contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any Prize.
Publicity Consent
Where a selected entrant provides separate, optional consent, Alumni-Perks and the Contest Sponsor may announce and publish the winner's first name and last initial, city and province, Participating Institution, and, if provided, a photograph or testimonial, in connection with the Contest. Providing publicity consent is optional and is not a condition of entry or of receiving the Prize, except for any minimal winner identification required by law.
Limitation of Liability
Neither Alumni-Perks, the Contest Sponsor, nor Participating Institutions shall be responsible for:
technical failures;
platform outages;
interrupted internet service;
lost, late, delayed, misdirected, or incomplete entries;
unauthorized access to Contest systems;
electronic transmission failures;
or any other errors beyond their reasonable control.
In no event shall Alumni-Perks, the Contest Sponsor, or any Participating Institution be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Contest.
Modification or Termination
Alumni-Perks reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify these Rules or suspend, cancel, or terminate the Contest should fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impair the proper administration of the Contest.
Reasonable notice of any material changes will be provided where practicable.
Québec Residents
For residents of Québec:
The Contest is open to eligible residents of Québec. To the extent required by applicable Québec law, French-language versions of these Rules and material Contest communications will be made available.
In the event of any discrepancy between the English and French versions of these Rules, the version that provides the greater protection to the participant shall govern, unless otherwise required by applicable law. Governing Law

Participants agree that any disputes relating to the Contest shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada, subject to any applicable consumer-protection and other mandatory laws (including those of Québec) that provide otherwise.

By entering the Contest, participants confirm that they:
have read and understood these Rules;

agree to comply with all applicable laws.
If any provision of these Rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
